Who will go and get the film developed?

谁去把胶卷洗出来？

　　动词develop，我们最熟悉的意思就是“发展”“开发”“培养”之类。在这个句子中，使用的却是相差比较远、但也很常用的另一个含义“冲洗（胶卷等）”，英文的解释是，To process (a photosensitive material), especially with chemicals, in order to render a recorded image visible.即，处理、加工（感光性材料），尤其是使用化学物质，以便使已记录的影像可见。

　　名词film在这个句子中的意思也不是“电影”，而是“一薄片或一长条已冲洗的照片底片或幻灯片”（A thin sheet or strip of developed photographic negatives or transparencies.）
